Coma Ghosts’ 1st birthday! (and some other stuff)

Howdy folks!

Wow, time flies, huh? A year ago today, our debut album “Coma Ghosts” was released. Since then, we received loads of great reviews for it and played some pretty cool shows to support the album. We just wanted to say a huge “Thank YOU” for all the countless great reviews, nice words and support that you people showed us so far! And of course to everyone who bought the album! And as if that’s not enough, we realized that the album made it into some “Best of 2012”-lists, polls and whatnot. If you want to check that out, simply follow these links:

10th place in best progressive metal album of 2012 at the awesome

Best Prog-Metal album 2012 at therocktologist (poll still open, looking quite good for us!)
place 17 in best albums of 2012 at

There are probably many many more out there and we have seen our name in many personal favorite-lists of 2012 as well… feels pretty amazing, people!

Funny enough, we played a gig in the MUZ-Club in Nuremberg yesterday, the very same location in which we held our release party for the album almost exactly one year ago. This time, we were invited to the Regionalcharts-Festival, put together by the great folks at afk.max. Again, the evening was pretty fantastic, so thanks to everyone who dropped by and showed some love for the regional music scene! We expect some pics of that show soon, so keep an eye on our facebook-page for that!

As you might know, this was only the start for a series of gigs we’ll be playing in the next few months. One of them being the fabulous “Night of the Beauties”-Festival in Herdorf on 8 & 9 March 2013! Besides Effloresce, the festival features 7 other bands, among them Whyzdom (FR) and Ex Libris (NL), oh yeah! Drop us a line and grab your ticket as long as we have some! 8,- EUR (+ shipping) is quite cheap for two awesome evenings, isn’t it? And we appreciate every bit of support so far from home!
